City and Zip Code of Job Seekers and Employers are displayed in order to create a more effective job search system. Any other information that is amassed in JobSherpa.com's databases during registration, whether it be personal or demographic, will not be seen by employers or job seekers - it is used solely to enforce age restrictions and better tailor the website to the user's needs. Important alerts regarding JobSherpa.com may be sent to the email that is provided.
Please protect your privacy by never disclosing sensitive information such as social security number, credit card or bank account number to others. JobSherpa.com will not ask for such information from job seekers at any point but may seek payment for the services provided, from employers, by such means.
Children (anybody under the age of 13) are not eligible to use JobSherpa.com unsupervised and we ask that children do not submit any personal information to us. If you are under the age of 13 you may only use the website while under the supervision of your parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect information from children 13 years old or younger.
Although we try to limit access to our searchable resume database only to employers, recruiters, and human resource professionals we cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. Precautions will be undertaken to prevent such cases but in the event of such a security failure JobSherpa.com is not responsible for any damage that results. In order to protect your privacy please do not post any information you are not comfortable sharing, potentially, with third parties. To protect yourself from identity theft, do not disclose sensitive information such as social security number, credit card or bank account number to employers in your resume or on the forums.
Please remember that if you post any of your personal information in public areas of JobSherpa.com, such as in the forums or your resume this information may be collected and used by others over whom we have no control. We are not responsible for the use made by third parties of information you post or otherwise make available in these areas.
